When prompted, enter your Windows SharePoint Services farm administrator credentials.

The administrator credentials you provide for the Windows SharePoint Services farm

must be a local administrator on the WFE server.

Creating Protection Groups

A protection group is a collection of data sources that share the same protection

configuration. Data sources within a protection group are referred to as protection group

members or simply members.

(DPM) 2007 protects and the level of data that you can recover by using DPM.
