Using the Dell OptiPlex ResourceCD

To use the Dell OptiPlex ResoureeCD while you are running the Mierosoft®

Windows® operating system, perform the following steps.

^ NOTE: To access device drivers and user documentation, you must use the

ResourceCDwhWe you are running Windows.

1 Turn on the eomputer and allow it to boot to the Windows desktop.

2 Insert the Dell OptiPlex ResoureeCD into the CD drive.

If you are using the Dell OptiPlex ResoureeCD for the first time on this

eomputer, the ResoureeCD Installation window opens to inform you

that the ResoureeCD is about to begin installation.

3 Cliek OK to eontinue.

To eomplete the installation, respond to the prompts offered by the

installation program.

4 Cliek Next at the Weleome Dell System Owner sereen.

5 Choose the appropriate System Model, Operating System, Deviee

Type, and Topie.

Drivers for Your Computer

To display a list of deviee drivers for your eomputer, perform the following

steps:

1 Cliek My Drivers in the Topie pull-down menu.

The ResoureeCD seans your eomputer’s hardware and operating

system, and then a list of deviee drivers for your system eonfiguration

is displayed on the sereen.

2 Cliek the appropriate driver and follow the instruetions to download

the driver to your eomputer.

To view all available drivers for your eomputer, eliek Drivers from the Topie

pull-down menu.
