Installing the Hard Drive

1. Place the hard drive in the bracket.

2. Tighten the screws that secure the hard drive to the bracket.

3. Slide the hard drive into the connector.

4. Tighten the screw to secure it to the chassis.

5. Install:

a. access panel

b. battery

6. Follow the procedures in After Working Inside Your computer .

Removing the Memory Module

1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.

2. Remove:

a. battery

b. access panel

3. Pry the securing clips away from the memory module until it pops up.

4. Remove the memory module from its socket on the system board.
