Installing the Optical Drive

1. Slide the optical drive to the computer and tighten the screw to secure it.

2. Install:

a. back cover

b. stand

c. stand cover

3. Follow the procedures in After Working Inside Your Computer.

Removing the Hard Drive

1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.

2. Remove:

a. stand cover

b. stand

c. back cover

3. Perform the following steps as shown in the illustration:

a. Push the hard-drive bracket to release it from its lock [1].

b. Lift the hard drive from one edge [2].
