Adding Parts 77

7 Reach inside the computer and push the metal plate towards you so

that it snaps off of the computer or insert a small screwdriver inside

one of the holes on the front of the metal plate and pry it towards you

until it snaps off.

8 Ensure that the jumper setting on the new drive is set for "cable select"

(see the documentation that came with the drive for information).

9 Remove two of the extra alignment screws from the front of the

computer and insert them into the drive.
