Hard-disk drive bezel
To remove the hard-disk drive assembly, perform the following steps.
NOTICE: To avoid damaging the system board, remove the power cable, the battery, and the second battery
(if installed) before you service the computer.
NOTICE: The hard-disk drive is very sensitive to shock. Handle the assembly by its edges (do not squeeze
the top of the hard-disk drive case), and avoid dropping it.
NOTICE: Make sure that the work surface is clean to prevent scratching the computer cover.
1. Turn the computer over, and remove the 5-mm screw from the center of the hard-disk drive bezel (see Figure
6
).
The drive is on the left side of the computer.
2. Slide the drive bezel up and pull the drive out of the computer.

You can install the following devices in the media bay:
● Diskette drive
● CD-ROM drive
● DVD-ROM drive
● SuperDisk LS-120 drive
● Battery
● Travel module
