Removing The LCD Module—Tower Mode
CAUTION: Many repairs may only be done by a certified service technician. You should only perform
troubleshooting and simple repairs as authorized in your product documentation, or as directed by the online or
telephone service and support team. Damage due to servicing that is not authorized by Dell is not covered by your
warranty. Read and follow the safety instructions that came with the product.
1. Turn off the system, including any attached peripherals, and disconnect the system from the electrical outlet and
peripherals.
2. Open the system.
3. Remove the left side cover. See Removing The System Left Side Cover.
4. Remove the top cover. See Removing The System Top Cover.
5. Remove the control panel assembly.
6. Disconnect the LCD cable.
7. Remove the screw securing the LCD module to the control panel.
8. Remove the LCD module out of the control panel assembly.

Installing The LCD Module—Tower Mode

1. Align and insert the LCD module with the LCD module slot on the control panel.
2. Secure the LCD module into the control panel using the screw.
