Replacing the Power Supply
1. Follow the procedures in "Before You Begin."
2. Remove the fan assembly.
3. Disconnect the AC power cable from the AC power connector on the back of the power supply.
4. Unplug the DC power cables from the drives and system board.
5. Remove the four screws that secure the power supply to the back of the computer.
6. Remove the power supply from the computer.
7. Slide the replacement power supply into place.
8. Replace the four screws that secure the power supply to the back of the computer.
9. Reinstall the fan assembly.
10. Reconnect the DC power cables to the drives and system board.
11. Replace the computer cover.
NOTICE: To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by using a wrist grounding strap or by periodically touching an unpainted metal surface (such
as the back panel) on the computer.
NOTICE: Before you disconnect a device from the computer or remove a component from the system board, verify that the standby power light on the
system board has turned off. To locate the light, see the mini-tower "System Board Components" or the desktop "System Board Components."
